That's a bummer! If you have served a minimum of 20 years May I suggest that you contact CCK Law and see if they can find a way to get you up to at least a 50% disability rating which should qualify you to receive Concurrent Retirement and Disability Pay (CRDP).

Today I got approval from the VA for 20% disability for service at Takhli in 1972, effective August 4,2022.

They will subtract the same amount from my retirement pay.
