Thanks, it looks like the area of the hedged off area that I was thinking about, base bus use to go by it, on the way to theater and Thai BX.

Paul. I worked in the bomb dump 1969 -1970 as a Munitions Specialist. If you can locate the map of the base on this website you should be able to find the Bomb Dump.

I recently viewed a youtube video on the bomb dump at U-Tapao, which was pretty impressive, my question is where the main weapons storage area was located at Takhli? Only thing that looks like it was the area close to the transit ramp, with the high hedge fence, that was rumored to be the Air America area.
