Has anyone received Compensation for Herbicide Exposure at Takhli? I have had a claim in for the last 18 months. Today I received a letter stating they are ready to rule on my claim as soon as I give them a 60 day window of when I was exposed to the Herbicide (AO). I have 30 days to do this. I was stationed at Takhli (October 1967 - October 1968) in the munitions storage area which was on the perimeter. I have also in the past sent them photos of the base, base perimeter of dead grass and trees in and out of the bomb dump, orders when I went to and from Takhli, performance reports, citations of others that have received compensations on appeal, along with many other documents.. The VA rule states that if you served on or near a perimeter of a base in Thailand is all that is required. I also was an Augmentee (where I started cross training as an AP because that is what I was sent back (my orders state this) to the USA as because of unbalanced career field) and did courier work to Viet Nam. Has anyone else had this happen to them? It appears the VA is giving us the run around and stalling as I really don’t know what else I could submit.
