When I moved to Ann Arbor in 1967, the Michigan
Central had an overnight train from Detroit to Chicago and another from Chicago to Detroit. I
recall taking that train from Ann Arbor to
Dearborn and to Detroit for early morning meetings.
I recall seeing the Ann Arbor Passenger train
departing from Toledo in 1950
