There are many islands close to the Michigan mainland. How many of them once had rail service?
Zug Island continues to be served by rail. In the
past, I think the following island had logging or
mining lines:
Beaver Island
Bois Blanc Island
Drummond Island
Isle Royal.

So far as I know, there was never a rail line on
Sugar Island or Belle Isle. Were there or are there other Michigan islands that had or currently have rail service
