Re: Stephens to 5 lakes junction?
Ok Leo I am on the same page as you now. Or closer than I was before lol. I see the small area where u parked off of fish lake rd. It appears from looking on Google earth u musta had to walk into the woods a lil ways from that parking spot to acrtualy get on the grade itself. This is the second area that I noticed that realy stuck out as being the grade to me. It appears upon very close inspection on Google earth and historic aerials that the grade crossed fish lake rd. North of Stephens a lil ways south of where u parked in the lil parking spot in the woods and then curved north west. But It appears not to line up with the curved north south section of Byers road upon closer inspection. It appears too cross Byers rd. Before it gets to the curved part of Byers and then does the north east curve and crosses fish lake rd. Again at a north east angle and goes above the lake at 5 lakes. The weird thing is u can't see where it branched off of the line in Stephens. It appears to be so over grown I'm not picking up the turn out area. But I do see what appears to be a grade in Stephens on the east side of fish lake rd. That runs straight north south in that area where it should have turned out not that far from where u parked but south of there a lil ways. I got down onto street view and I can see what appears to be a faint trace of an opening in the woods which appears to have grown shut but u can still see a slight opening there on the west side of fish lake rd. Where I think it crossed judging by the aerial view. The thing is on the east side of fish lake rd. There is absolutely bo trace of an opening in the woods for the row.
