Elba Steve, yes that is part of the map that I saw on the net. The grade I'm talking about branches off to the west just a lil ways below where the bottom of that map u posted cuts off. I believe u r right on the money with the Benjamin Mill. I'm thinkin the old timers just got the name mixed of the mill mixed up a bit. The funny thing is the guy just gives his first name with no contact info. Lol but now they have ne interested myself. I want to go out in that area when I visit sum friends of mine up in Gladwin maybe next summer. I can still see the turnout about 2-3 miles south of west branch heading out to the west and then it appears that it curves down to the south west and straight south and then curves to the west a short distance and joins the line to gladwin at Rhodes. Right near Rhodes rd.
