Yes, starting in 1976 after GTW took over former PC territory in the Tri-Cities, the Saginaw Sub trains were 470/471 and they were good sized trains. They also had coal and oil trains. Sometimes they would run a Durand-Saginaw turn, and that was 891/890 as I recall. Regarding your discussion about locals, up through the 1970's, the locals had 500 series numbers and then sometime later they changed them to 600 series. I guess under CN is probably different now.
