Tonight we counted a 178 car mixed frieght plus 3 engines from the Webber Street crossing in Saginaw headed south to Flint.

55 stone care which will drop off the regular count when winter hits but the rest were all year round business.

Of that 178 cars over 80 of those cars had LakeState markings NOT other railroads or leasers.

It is absolutely amazing how this railroad has grown. We can remember when some trains only had two or three cars and an engine getting moved for a customer.

There seems to be multiple team track customers USING transload services at Carpenter Street south yard and two customers doing the same in Bay city. That rocks!!!
