The answer to your question is this...Lake State and CSX made an agreement about 3 months ago to share power and instead of swapping out the entire train at Wixom. This eliminated the time consuming switching moves, allowing the train to continue straight to Toledo. A CSX unit will always be on the lead because Lake State units do not have PTC systems installed, and that is necessary for movement south of Wixom on the CSX trackage.
