In 1971, when I started, the portion from the Flint River, on the west side, to Harrison Street on the east side of Flint was gone. The tracks from the east side ended at Harrison Street, where the old GTW Freight Office used to be, before everything was moved out by the airport.
I remember working that East Flint Assignment and actually going all the way in to Flint down to Harrison Street, to the Freight Office.
The C&O had some tracks that served a couple of industries on West Kearsley Street on the south side of the Flint River.
Exactly where, and how they crossed, diamond?, I don't know. The crossing was gone by 1971, although the C&O Tracks were still there, and in use, for a few years.
