Re: NOKL Hoppers on HESR
They could just be for storage. If you take the time to drive around the system during the summer, especially east of Saginaw, you'll find dozens of NOKL covered hoppers sitting in sidings waiting for fall. I seem to recall seeing other leasor reporting marks on covered hoppers around the Thumb, but it seems like NOKL is one of the most common ones I've seen, possibly even moreso than HESR.
