It's been 5 years since he called her an old sweatshirt and she kissed him good bye in the hospital. It's been 9.4 yrs since she left for Paris..said she thought it would be better for her to leave.. leave him w/ Tracy. It's been almost 2.5 years since Luke left Port Charles. It's been 16 years since they were together planning a wedding before the Rick disaster story. So other than a couple of weeks 16 or more years without them being together happy. I think Kevin and Laura are probably not boring I'd love to know what they do behind closed doors/ on vacation etc.. We know Laura has a wild side but needs comfort of homemaking and feeling safe. We know Kevin is the calm rational side of crazy Lucy but his antics w/ Robert and Lucy ..his mental illness stuff.. the painter, his old house, his hobbies shows he's an adventurer too. There could be a whole Wild and crazy side to these two that could be fun and entertaining with comedy and intriguing mysteries without the drag that the mob has.
