Cannot disagree with what you say. I knew that the source of Snapshot was a house tape with part of the first track damaged. I bought it from Alan when it was first released although I recall having a cassette copy of it some years earlier.

My interest in the "stereo" version comes from my curiosity on technical matters. I have not seen this version advertised at the usual places but I have had contact with the guy that is selling it and he assures me that it is the result of cutting edge technology and not a rehash of the old 1960s Duophonic and other processes. So I will make up my mind when I receive it. The guy I am getting it from has a close to 100% approval rating over 20 years as a seller but I doubt that he is the manufacturer.

I can always send it back if I think it is a dud.
