Somehow, we lost touch...and when Julie asked me what happened, I blamed YOU !!!
=> I Told Her It Was All Your Fault !!!
Of course, that's not true...but you couldn't expect me to blame ME could you ??? {hahaha}
Anyhow, I hear you're going to see Peter Yarrow & Paul Stookey in concert, and from the reviews I've read,
they put on a great show, so you're in for a treat.
Oh, and speaking of PP&M...Analogue Productions just reissued >>> "ALBUM 1700" <<<
(originally released in 1967 and the number 1700 refers to Warner Brothers catalogue number)
This new version is available from Acoustic Sounds, and features a "Gatefold" cover which is visually stunning !!!
{ALBUM 1700 photo was inspired by Bonnie & Clyde movie promos}
The sound on ALBUM 1700 is impeccable because it now comes as a 2-LP / 45rpm / 180 gram reproduction.
This fine "Album" also includes PP&M's #1 hit "Leaving On A Jet Plane" (written by John Denver).....
and another song which made the "Top Ten"..."I Dig Rock And Roll Music" (written by Paul Stookey).
I know Paul's real name is "Noel"...but to me, he still looks like a "Paul".....and besides.....
"PETER NOEL & MARY" just doesn't work for me.
So Rick, when you see PETER & PAUL in concert, a lot of times they'll ask the audience to sing MARY's part.
I want you to know the words when the time comes.
>>> please see video below <<<
Enjoy The Show and Be Well, My Friend.
