Thanks for the info. I vaugely re call the Gertude Berg show. Seems it was in the era of the "Honeymooners", Sid Caeser "Show of shows" etc., and then there was Molly Goldberg who always shouted out her window. mid 50's stuff. Many of these early TV shows started out as radio programs. Kinda glad we don't have that now! Although with what's available on the 2,000 or so cable stations, I find myself watching vintage re runs.
