Okay, I swore I wouldn't buy another guitar, since I can hardly play these days due to a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder. I can't drape my arm over the guitar to play. And it's killing me to not be able to play after 55 years or more years. But then I started thinking after seeing and hearing them in videos I've been watching... a resonator guitar. I can put in on my lap and play it. So I'm looking at a bunch of them all in a decent price range. So, any dobro players out there? Any suggestions? Are they hard to play? I figure an open tuning and the left hand slide, it can't be all that bad. I've always been a finger picker, so I know I can finger pick. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.
