You can't beat "Kisses Sweeter than Wine" for a song, but since Jimmie did "Today," I have to admit the New Christy Minstrels version of "Kisses" is my favorite.

I didn't see this mentioned here or the Kingston Trio Place message board so maybe some of you missed this as well. Jimmie Rodgers passed away at the age of 87 last January. Some of his well known hits were Kisses Sweeter Than Wine, Secretly, World I Used To Know and of course Honeycomb. Jimmie was certainly a contemporary of the Kingston Trio and his voice will be missed. MTABob
