And Yes - moving is extremely stressful, and it's not only the packing of a million boxes,
and hiring the right movers, etc...I lived in the same house for the past 25 years,
and I've got so many memories. (good + bad)

Our "move" is like starting life all over again.
To be honest, I'm not handling it very well. I miss my other home. (seller's remorse)

AND...AND...AND...

It didn't take long for me to learn that if I ever doubted where my property line was,
all I had to do was watch my neighbour, Paul Cleland, cut the grass !!!

I remember trying to talk to Paul about THE KINGSTON TRIO - but he never heard of them,
and then he asked me if they were some "Black" group from the West Indies ???

Our conversation was over in less than 5 minutes; I walked away...and Paul continued cutting his grass.

No Max, crooked movers should not be shot.
I would put them in the "Death By Slow Torture" category - along with tailgaters and telemarketers !!!

Dave Guard and I kept in touch with each other (a year before he passed),
and when I asked him how things were going, Dave's reply was....

"It's auspicious to be jolly, so that is the order of the day."

First off....Jackee was in real estate for 25 years...Moving is one of the most .....trawmatic things you can do. It causes nervous breakdowns.

Our last mover should have been shot ... If owned a gun, I would have done it myself.

The guy was a crook.

Then, there's Jackee.

Jackee find the biggest boxes known to mankind.

She fills them over the brim.

No human can lift them.

No organization at all.

We still have boxes that we have not unpacked from our last 3 moves.

It's easier to buy new stuff than to go through the boxes to find what you're after.

My first copy of Allan Shaw's book, Pure Dave, and an incredible 10 channel microphone mixer were on a table the day before we moved,and Jackee put them all in a giant box with some dishes...she thinks...I have NEVER found it. She put all of my CDs in a giant box I've never unpacked...this was 5 years ago. Only Gawd knows what's in all the boxes we have not ever gotten around to unpacking...I have boxes in storage that are from a move 10 years ago that I never unpacked....
