Catherine and Camilla both look stunning. I love Catherine's earrings and the small Alexandra Three Feathers brooch.

King's walking

His Majesty seems to be stuggling when walking, which is concerning.

He definitely had something going on with his legs. Maybe his cancer treatment has caused issues? Or perhaps he wrenched a knee?

If he received radiation therapy he would have internal scarring, which would cause discomfort with movement.

Camilla looks lovely and so does Catherine. I love Catherine's floaty pastel yellow gown, but I just wish she'd worn her hair up. I think tiaras look their best when paired with a beautiful updo. I am worried about Catherine though, and I know I sound like a broken record, but her weight loss is worrisome.

Tiaras And Jewelry At The State Banquet

Camilla's amethyst necklace origin is unknown, but it looks like a Middle Eastern design, maybe a gift from Oman in the past? It's beautiful.
I wonder about the brooch fastened onto the POW's sash, is it one of the bar brooches, I can't tell.
The Duchess of Gloucester is spectacular as always.

Not one of the bar brooches.

Royal Watcher states further down the article that it is a Art Deco Diamond Brooch. Also in the article it's stated that Queen Camilla is wearing Queen Victoria’s Diamond Bar Brooch on her sash. There is a photo showing the Bar Brooch holding the sash on her shoulder blade at the back.

That necklace is beautiful. I think it may have been given during this visit.

Yeah, I viewed the bar brooch holding Camilla's sash.
The Court Jeweler states that the diamond brooch fastened to Catherine's sash is a piece from her personal jewelry collection and is a favorite of hers.

Queen Victoria's Omani Tiara

Posted by Karen on October 21, 2026, 7:34 pm, in reply to "State Visit of the Sultan of Oman to the UK in 44 Years"

As part of the Oman State Visit, there was a display of Royal Collection objects including this ruby and diamond tiara. It was given to Queen Victoria by Sayyid Sa'id, Sultan of the Omani Empire. Also according to the Royal Collection site it was probably commissioned to mark the Queen’s Coronation in 1838.

That is a beautiful tiara. It looks like it's one of the few jewels Queen Mary never altered and probably never wore. I don't think anyone since Victoria has ever worn it.
