Twerkette hijacks theoretical friend's book promotion

Twerkette decided to attend this book signing event. she wasn't on the event list as a co-moderator or presenter, so why she was allowed up there to gebin with I don't know. And if she and the author have been besties since college, why didn't the author attend Twerkette's wedding? The whole microphone thing is just cringey. And later she talks about 9/11, telling a fake story. It's hideously embarrassing.

The other woman looked daggers at Twerkette, but she covered Twerkette's rudeness pretty well. I'd have whupped Twerkette upside the head.

Taz makes some great observations. That author whose interview Twerkette took over looks really pissed off. Twerkette's facade slipped for a second when Courtney Adamo dared (gasp!) to correct her at one point. It's not in Taz's video though.

I believe the video. Meghan has been chasing Dior for years and they don't want her. She wanted that Birkin to show it off and give the impression Hermes took her on as spokeswoman for the brand. Everyone sees through her.

Twerkette doesn't always return loaners. We know that. Plus the "Markle effect" has turned out to be the opposite of the "Kate effect." Add in that Twerkette also makes many designers look bad by how awful her style sense is, and no wonder she's not getting a bite for all her fishing.

I'm going to make a guess that we won't see Twerkette at next year's Paris Fasion Week.

The Twerks found the most dismal pumpkin patch out there and their family were the only ones there. It's all staged, of course, but it just seems so dreary and depressing. Oh, and Twerkette wore an out worth close to $2000 USD.

Meghan had to get the husband, the kids, and Doria out (plus Markus) for the usual holiday video and get photos of herself and Doofus at the World Series because several organizations had ceremonies/galas this past weekend that she definitely wasn't invited to attend. Variety had it's big Women in Power and the WSJ had a big women's power/business gala as well as SAG's gala. A lot of the Meghan's "friends" were invited and photographed attending.......

Why Meghan Markle is distancing herself professionally from Prince Harry

Prince Harry fully supports Meghan Markle’s latest move to professionally distance herself from him.

“He always thinks she’s making the right moves,” an insider told Us Weekly in an article published Wednesday, with a second insider saying Harry is happy Markle found “something she can sink her teeth into.”

“It’s what she successfully did before him, and he believes in the saying, ‘Happy wife, happy life.’ He’s happy not to be involved in that world,” the second source said, referring to Markle leaning into Hollywood life.

The second insider claimed that the distinction between Markle and Harry’s career aspirations will have a positive outcome for the Duke of Sussex.

“It’s healthy for them as a couple to have separate spheres, identities and passion projects,” the insider told the outlet.

The “negative attention” Markle gets in the press has allegedly affected Harry’s work, the other source shared.

“They will be very [professionally] divided now. It’s what they have been doing all year,” the source said.

Public relations expert Jane Owen told the outlet that Markle is building her “individual brand again.”

“It’s a shift toward individuality,” Owen pointed out.

Owen believes Harry is pleased with the new arrangement because he can focus on his personal projects.

“He seems happier doing the quieter, cause-driven work,” Owen said. “They’re still a team, but they’re playing to their own strengths now.”

PR maven Mark Borkowski agreed that the Duchess of Sussex is “no longer half of a royal duo.”

“She’s re-emerging as a solo brand: global, aspirational and strategically aloof,” Borkowski said. “The royal chapter was about proximity to power. This one’s about reclaiming it.”

Borkowski believes the former “Suits” actress, 44, is swapping her “duty-bound duchess palette” for a “cooler, west Coast gloss.”

“The Vogue salons, the couture cameos, the soft-focus humanitarianism — all signals that she’s positioning herself in the rarefied Gwyneth [Paltrow] and [Victoria] Beckham tier of conscious luxury,” Borkowski said.

The second insider explained how Markle is making a “very conscious move” into the world of strategic branding.

“Meghan is opening herself to the universe of brands and marketing, signaling to the world, ‘I’m open for business and ready to make money in the lifestyle sector,’” the source said. “[She wants to] emulate Gwyneth. She doesn’t necessarily need TV shows and the criticism that comes with them.”

Brand and culture guru Nick Ede claimed Markle is in “pure celebrity mode.”

Charles is in charge, not William. William doesn't have the power--yet. Do we have proof Harry's headed to London, or is this speculation? I can imagine he and his wife are in panic mode, but I doubt BP gave them a head's up on what was coming. I suspect Harry found out about it the same way the public found out--via an announcement.

I agree that Harry didn't get an advance notification about this or any other news. He has said that he tries to stay in touch but his father doesn't return his calls or letters. Personally, I don't think that Harry would try hopping on a private jet to make another unannounced and uninvited visit to Charles. This whole thing with Andrew has been exhausting and Harry has to know he'd be lucky to get in the gate. But it was interesting to think about.
