I don't believe Eugenie being seen with Piers Morgan is the reason behind any estrangement. I think Eugenie and Jack finally decided it would be wise to step away from the Sussexes. I also think TO didn't see any more use for Eugenie any more.

In a bombshell new interview, Sentebale chair Dr Sophie Chandauka made several damaging claims against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, calling their brand 'toxic' and accusing Harry of 'harassment and bullying at scale' - a claim that is denied.

Dr Chandauka claims that, prior to a charity Polo event in 2024, Meghan confirmed she would not be attending - before showing up with the tennis legend.

"'The international press captured this, and there was a lot of talk about the Duchess and the choreography on stage and whether she should have been there and her treatment of me.

'Prince Harry asked me to issue some sort of a statement in support of the Duchess, and I said I wouldn't.

'Not because I didn't care about the Duchess, but because I knew what would happen if I did so, number one. And number two, because we cannot be an extension of the Sussexes.'"

In a bombshell interview with Sky News' Trevor Phillips, which aired this morning, Dr Chandauka said an opportunity for Sentebale to do a charity Polo Challenge in Miami was ruined when Harry insisted on bringing his Netflix camera crew along.

'About a month before the event was about to take place, Prince Harry called the team and said, 'I'm doing a Netflix show, and I would love to bring a camera crew so that I can include some footage in this show,'' she said.

'And so the team called me and told me, 'Oh, Prince Harry's made this request, so we're doing the things'.

'I said, you can't be doing the things without seeking consent from the property owners, the sponsors, all the guests. Nobody signed up to being on a Netflix show.'

She added: 'We come up with draft agreements and of course, the venue owner says this is now a commercial undertaking. So here are my terms. We couldn't afford it. So now we lost the venue.'

Dr. Chandauka was featured on "All Things Considered", she repeated this statement in addition to her claims, she stated, "They're hoping Sentebale will ultimately fail so Harry can come in and rescue the organization like a white knight." The host asked her if she was serious and she said yes.
The story has hit all the US media. I can imagine Harry calling the Palace in a desperate effort for Pa to make it all go away. No chance Harry, you're on your own.

I have looked through the Sentebale website and recommend it for a good understanding of the functioning of this charity.
The appointment of Iain Rawlinson as a trustee is a resounding plus.
The chair, Dr Chandauka is intent on a future of good governance for this charity and will not bend that standard to entertain spasmodic whims and fancies of anyone.
She would appear to be a strong and forthright character prepared to be transparent about her vision for the proper running of this charity.
We shall have to wait and see just how current issues are resolved.

Iain Rawlinson appointed trustee

According to Companies House, Iain Rawlinson was appointed as a trustee of the charity on March 25 - the same day it was announced that Prince Harry was stepping down.

He is also listed as a trustee on the Sentebale website, where he is described as an 'experienced Chair, Board Director, Charity Trustee and Strategy Advisor'.

Rawlinson is also a known ally of the Prince of Wales, and served as chair of his Tusk Trust from 2002 to 2013, and chair of the development board until 2021. He is still an active volunteer at the wildlife conservation charity, according to his LinkedIn.

The financier has been advising Chandauka following the rift, telling the Financial Times that certain trustees had attempted to 'destabilise and remove' Sophie from her position as chair.

Would somebody please explain just who appoints or hires trustees?

Under UK charity law, the power to appoint or remove trustees must follow the charity’s governing document. This could be a trust deed, constitution, or articles of association. In most charities, the board of trustees collectively holds the power to add or remove members, not the chair alone.

The Charity Commission has already confirmed it is reviewing governance concerns at Sentebale. If Chandauka appointed trustees after the board lost quorum or if she bypassed the charity’s rules, the Commission may need to step in.

"Can it really be the case that the terminally petulant Prince Harry has helped torpedo the charity set up in honour of his mother to help child Aids victims — because the boss of it refused to publicly defend Meghan? It’s unthinkable that this could be the case and yet it’s what Dr Sophie Chandauka, the charity’s boss is alleging. She says Harry — via his team — had asked her to issue “some sort of statement” in support of Meghan to quash rumours of tension between them.

She refused after which Dr Chandauka claims Harry sent her an “unpleasant and imperious note” demanding she “explain herself” after refusing to defend his wife. The charity has already confirmed the existence of this note. However a spokesman says: “We do not have consent to share the communication.”
I have to agree with the author of the article, Harry has picked on the wrong woman, especially demanding "she explain herself". It's condescending and threatening and a strong woman won't put up with such language. I do think Meghan gets Harry to defend her in public as he has because he takes the flak and criticism that Meghan, the "empowered woman" can't face.

Her products are "sold out" because there was a short production run. Oh, look! Sold out and with back orders! Because there are so few places one can buy fruit spread and honey. Yep, it sounds like one hand washing the other deal. It's a flimsy operation, but in the end, it won't be Meghan's fault everything goes to hell in a hand basket. It'll be Netflix's fault because, after all the media company is her "business partner". They should have prepared her, but they left her hanging. Blah, blah.

I haven't bothered to check out her site. I can buy all-natural jam and honey at my local King Soopers for $5 each, I can make crepes and cookies from scratch, and I have zero interest in flower spittle or whatever it is TOW slaps on everything. And yes, she and that online company have pulled some higgidy-jiggidy with the whole stupid "sold out" thing.
