"It took several months for Cookie Queens to receive distribution after its Sundance premiere, but Nahmis reiterated that the fight was worth it for Scouts across the country to see their stories on the big screen."
That wasn't a good sign when it took so long to receive distribution. The director states that the film received such a great response at Sundance. I always read about Sundance when it's going on and this year no mention was made of this film in the reviews.
I have the feeling it won't be a big blockbuster just for the fact that Harry and Meghan's names are on it. Everything they touch dies a painful death. It's interesting that she calls it "her movie" when she and Harry only signed on as "Executive Producers" right before Sundance....anybody can be a producer now days.
Meghan wasn't a Girl Scout, she only made to the Brownies, the beginning level at the time.
