HM loved having her whole family with her on the balcony. I loved seeing how much the children grew from year to year. All the adult cousins could socialize and all the children could run around and play together. I think it made the extended family stronger, too. Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg didn't go on the balcony, but he would have luncheon with the family before going to a gathering of the Irish Guard.

I hope William will resume having extended family on the balcony. It would be lovely to see the Tindall crew there, and maybe Peter and his wife and children too.
