Queen Sonya has, in the past couple of years or so, been the rock of the family. King Harald has had health problems and hospitalizations which are increasing with time. Mette-Marit and her illness and the Epstein mess on top of that with her plus the Marius scandal, which MM had a hand in also. Princess Astrid is not in great health. Last, there's Martha Louis and Durek, who, have been toned down and quiet for a while, but also contributed their share of scandal.
It's a pile upon pile for Sonja and I'm surprised she has endured this long. It's a matter of time that her health suffers. Sonja looked as if something was off with her in the photos of National Day, she probably was feeling ill already.
