I was referring, actually, to how Athena seemed distant from her nuclear family. There is that photo of Marie and Athena very close, but Athena is leaning away. She didn't stand squared to any of them. I got the impression that she was an island, rather than part of the land mass. If that makes sense. Of course, a photo is only a moment in time and only tells the story of that moment. I could be wrong.
