Actually, it's seven years and seven months. The maximum sentence for a rape conviction is 10 years. Marius committed 4 rapes. Those crimes in addition to numerous other felonies and he will "fined" for those. I know, I know, their laws are different from our US laws, but I don't think the victims really got all that much justice. Why? When Marius is released, he'll offend again and again, unless a miracle happens. I can feel it.
Prosecutors are denying that he's getting special treatment...the public may not agree.
