You're right, this won't change those publications that concentrate on HRH's outfits, make up etc. We all have seen the inserts the DM puts in next to their articles showing the price of Catherine's outfits and accessories, the price and where they can be purchased plus the outlets for knock offs.
The DM gets money for the merching. So, no, they won't stop and no of the others will either.
