"Highly educated....driving Global causes with passion and purpose"? I disagree. I also disagree with her in-laws being, "highly spooked".
Her majors at Northwestern were Theater and International Relations, not exactly heavyweight areas of study. I'm sorry, but they are not. Meghan graduated, but she didn't earn any honors and as far I know, she didn't graduate in the top third or fourth of the school class. She was an average student, and that's not bad. Some of the people I'm friends with or know, graduated in the "middle" and they are some of the wisest and smartest people I have the pleasure to be with. The trouble is the media and Meghan herself make her out to be of a Mensa intelligence.
Meghan herself stated the first thing she did at Northwestern was find out where she could get a fake ID so she could go to parties/bars. She also admitted to partying more than studying. There also is some questions by others concerning her "double majors" at Northwestern.
As far as the Royal Family, they knew what they were dealing with before the marriage. According to a royal author, when Meghan crashed the wedding in Jamaica, she brought her paps with her, of course. Said paps got some really juicy photos of Meghan and Harry on their hotel balcony performing some, well, very explicit "activity", out in the open. People in the other hotel rooms were complaining about the activity and the "noises".
The Palace found out about the photos and confiscated the photos from the paps under the threat of legal action. The Queen and Charles knew then what they were dealing with. I'm sure so did William. They knew all along what kind of person Meghan was. I do think Megxit did take the Royals by surprise, though.
