If you had to choose 10 other countries to have food from in your everyday life, which 10 would you choose. Oh, and you can have the Americanized version if you like.
I know for sure that I would like:
Japanese food. (I'm not thinking sushi, but the foods that we used to eat at a Japanese restaurant such as teriyaki beef, dashi soup, soy sauce based pickles, etc.)
Then I start getting lost, lol! Let me think...
If I can include fish and chips and such, then I'd eat the foods of England and Ireland.
Again, as long as I can be choosey, perhaps Germany? Potato pancakes, cabbage, stews...
Boy, this is harder than it sounds.
Oh, Greek food isn't bad if you choose wisely! That's 8, lol!
How about Spain, and France? They each have dishes that I like to eat.
I guess that my top 3 are Italian, Mexican, and Chinese.
I've eaten good food from American Thai restaurants and stands, but not the spicy dishes, had good Polynesian food, and even had some good Russian dishes such as borscht, buckwheat sides, and yeah well, caviar! lol! But, don't want to choose them for everyday eating, I don't think.
How about you?
