Beef Wellington & Fish & Chips.
Plus afternoon teas.....the two English sisters who lived next to each other and next to us, made pastries. They taught me to make cream puffs, Napoleons, and other desserts as well as pies.
Philly Pizzas Italian but Hoagies are American.. interesting bit of history ..created by Italians. But best from a real Italian Deli. All types of pastas... I even made some. Meals: Lasagna, Ravioli, Spaghetti Alla Carbonara and more. Meatballs and sauce from scratch.
French - Apple Tarts, French Onion Soup, Cheese & potato bake,Crepes... but not French Toast,,, an American made it.
Chinese meals - Beef & Broccoli, Chicken fried rice, Egg rolls, Wontons but not the soup, Szechuan Beef,Shrimp & Broccoli Lo Mein, Kung Pao Chicken, sticky orange chicken, chow mein, and more. LA had lots of real chinese food.
Mexican.. anything. My dad fell in love with their food. He cooked it often. Burritos, Tostados, Tacos, but also shrimp dishes, fish, meat. Desserts. I loved watching Pati's Mexican Table on PBS.... great meals.
Some German meals, Sauerbraten - roast beef stew, Bratwurst, German Potato pancake aka kartoffelpuffer, German pan fried potatoes,
Sauerkraut, Pork chops,German Muesli, mulled wine, Schnitzel,Sauerbraten marinated rump roast.
1/3 third English, 1/3 German, & 1/3 Scottish.
Scottish I have not had any original food. Lobster and fish, Tatties are potatoes. That's it. My scottish rels live in Canada.
I'm sure there are more countries I should add. But this is more then enough.
