Potato skins are delicious.
Have you ever used your food brush for celery? I know that people use them for root veges, etc. I cut the tops and bottoms off of celery...for the freezer for making broth...then have stalks left.
I wash the soup pieces, and the stalks, but use a potato brush. The brush gets into all the grooves, and the 'cup' area of each stalk. The weird slime that comes off of celery, and all dirt, are washed away much more easily, and completely, using the brush. :-)
That's a great idea, re: dish soap. Do you have the original dog shampoo recipe that I've posted over the years? I can't find mine, darn.
Jars, and peanut butter containers, are very, very, handy!
I just saved money by buying my cat litter in a 30 lb. box. We'll see how that works out.
