Put some butter in a wok/frying pan
Add rice once melted - not to much... just enough to coat the rice a wee bit.
Pan at med low heat
Add to rice
Some olive oil
Minced garlic
S & P
Stir in Soy sauce a bit at a time
Add a little Sesamee oil - not too much, a lot less then soy sauce
Dice veggies - I add what I have
Corn niblets canned or off the cob
Red bell peppers or/green or gold
Green onions
I always add frozen green peas
Or green beans, French style, strung beans, your choice
Add Whatever you have on hand
I also toss in some sesame seeds.
Diced
Pork, or chicken, or shrimp, etc.
Stir to prevent sticking to pan.
