Back in the day, when I had my first place away from home, I sometimes bought a small, frozen spaghetti...it was surprisingly good, considering how picky I am about pasta products.
Anyway, I used to cook it in a cast iron pan, because I didn't want to wait for the oven, and put butter in the pan. That's probably what made it so good!
