Chocolate Peanut Butter Grahams
It may not be the same, but remember, there are chocolate coated graham cookies out there. If you can get them, it's one less ingredient to need. Just spread with peanut butter, and eat!
Also, remember in all of the recipes that you don't need to melt chocolate in the microwave...it can burn in there, btw...you can put it in a bowl over a pot that you heated water in. Just take the pot off of the burner, put the bowl on top, and stir now and then as the chocolate melts.
⦁ 1 jar (18 ounces) peanut butter
⦁ 1 package (14.3 ounces) graham crackers, broken into rectangles
⦁ 1-1/2 pounds milk chocolate candy coating, coarsely chopped
⦁ Spread tablespoonful of peanut butter on one side of half of the graham crackers. Top with remaining crackers; refrigerate 15 minutes or until peanut butter has firmed.
⦁ In a microwave, melt candy coating; stir until smooth. Dip cookies in coating to completely cover; allow excess to drip off.
⦁ Place on waxed paper-lined ⦁ baking sheets; let stand until set. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
