that year we beat USC & Michigan, man there were some atrocious losses for a team that could beat those two teams on the road
we beat those two and finished 10-10 in the Big West!! case closed, that was kind of a similar year I guess in terms of tanking end of conference...before CDM got fired and then won teh BWCT

Obviously not nearly enough, but he did have victories against Michigan, USC, Pittsburgh and UCLA. Could be forgetting 1 or 2 more, too

CDM could not win in non conference
there is something the Big West coaches do to prepare that Ingrassio doesnt have answers for. These conference swoons have become clockwork each year.
Last night it seemed like we had the ball 70% of the time with 5 on 7's with players dribbling in traffic ( hey I'm no soccer guru), and then north just gets a few 3 on 3s so the got fewer but better looks. Our Massey rating is at top of the Big West yet we are sitting in 9th!!
Those last two goals given up were just horrific, that was a a nightmare to come back and then lapses to lose that game. And then 3 bad kicks that had zero chance when we needed a good opportunity, the free kick was like 20 feet over the net, arggh, That was a must win game.
Feel bad for this program, regression

This has been the pattern for the last 6 to 8 years. People keep saying it's injuries but that can't be a long term excuse when every team has to deal with it. This is one of our core sports (on the women's side)...I think change at the top needs to be contemplated. Someone said Ingrassia has turned into another Dan Monson which is looking spot on!

once again, the program started fast, lot's of promise
once again, the conference season starts lukewarm,
granted, each tie vs Cal Poly & UCSB on the road isn't really a poor result.
just teh program finds itself in 8th place after one week.
two winnable games, and they really need to score wins adn 3 points in each games. otherwise just feels like 'here we go again' type of year.
no pressure!
thought late in the Cal Poly game, Cox went into desperation mode with some super long range attempts towards a goal instead of more patience.
not blame necessarily, just they have to find away to find more pressure versus hail mary attempts.
another winless week and conference will be over before it started
