Seems like this happens every year now in conference. All the coaches know how to game plan against his system to slow them down. Not sure if he needs better players or if the coach needs to tweak or change his system. Mauricio is a well respected coach had has had plenty of success earlier in his tenure but at some point you need to evaluate if he is the right person for the job at this specific time in the programs life. once again, the program started fast, lot's of promise
once again, the conference season starts lukewarm,
granted, each tie vs Cal Poly & UCSB on the road isn't really a poor result.
just teh program finds itself in 8th place after one week.
two winnable games, and they really need to score wins adn 3 points in each games. otherwise just feels like 'here we go again' type of year.
no pressure!
thought late in the Cal Poly game, Cox went into desperation mode with some super long range attempts towards a goal instead of more patience.
not blame necessarily, just they have to find away to find more pressure versus hail mary attempts.
another winless week and conference will be over before it started
