The Point Loma HC, Justin Downer, has a 73-20 career record in his 3rd season at PLNU. He's the best D2 HC in the west but USD probably will pursue a "bigger name" like when they hired Steve Lavin. I'm praying Downer is still available when Acker leaves, whenever that is. Previous Message

Acker should give him a call, would be a nice 4 for the team.

He played well enough in his frosh season with the Niners to see this coming. I think his next move is to transfer to a MWC or Pac 12 type school, but probably not a P4 school. If he had stayed with the Niners, Acker probably would have had him sit on the bench to keep DMX company. No one can question that he made a good move for himself.
