I would say there is no way after one year, but you never know. I seriously doubt with his zig zagging coaching path and a not so great season at St Mary's he's not going to be on any short list for high profile jobs.

I do wonder if Walters at Cal Poly would try for this position, and how much Cal Poly would seriously consider. there will be the usual 'steal a top 20 coach' speculation . These ADs IMO probably just get out the rolodex of their VB contacts they know since they have no clue about the actual potential skill level of candidates.

Reft is out at UCLA. Thought he was an odd hire when he took the job. Good reputation, but UCLA hiring an assistant at a mid-major? Seemed like a reach. Can Tyler work his name into the conversation again???
