Anything conclusive from this information? Probably not yet, but hiring a head coach from the D2 level with good experience seems to have worked out for CSUN, CP, and UCR. All 3 coaches have tons of experience putting together rosters annually with a lot of turnover and getting them to play as a team right away. You need that type of skill in today's game for low major schools. You're going to lose your best players to the portal but you simply have to find players who can adapt to new situations rapidly. UCR brought in 13 transfers this year (sound familiar) and yet Gus Argenal has them playing as a team.
