Acker is gonna have to re-think the offense, depending on the talent
maybe at SDSU where you have a team with guys that bench press 300 and that can't get stripped in close quarters.
team needs spacing, slow developing plays make for a tough watch, and we absolutely are not good at back-door or countering every team that overplays us or doubles Askew.
Denson should be the guy to pass to out of double teams, except, well......

Hart is useless. He wont see the court again this year. Should be Gone. Askew, if he returns, needs help with a passing point guard and a different offense. The dribble offense doesn't work with our current guys. RECRUIT!! Previous Message
you are correct, I stand corrected.
he's got one more year. still want him back.
the team progressed vs. Irvine, then went into the toilet vs. SB, which was no surprise.
which is it? progress vs. Irvine, ot back vs. SB, lol
Martin is having up and downs.
DMX is the one most progressing
injuries to Nagy have made assessing him impossible
no question this team does not have the raw talent
not having a decent wing player, forcing so many stop-gaps, really exposed. just have to see who Acker brings in.

Well, he's actually a junior (JUCO transfer). It's nothing against him. He just doesn't rebound. Has a 40 percent turnover rater. Doesn't block shots. Might be 7-1, but it's basically 5-on-4 when he's out there.
And again, nothing about this season leads me to believe this coaching staff will get him/others to improve. Most players on this team are regressing, save for DMX/Wainwright. Previous Message
duh, yes.
he's a frggn frosh. 7'1". yeah he's a project. bigs take time
a mid-major program has to still do some investment in players
CR coming back is not an issue. it's how they replace Austin Johnson and Denson as the main upgrades.
this idea a coach is just going to discard every single player (yes some should not come back) would be counter-productive.
it may take 2 years for CR to become a starter.
Neuchten of Irvine averaged 3 points a game as a frosh, and mostly sat on the pine. He's now the most difficult player to match up with in the Big West Previous Message
I'm sorry, you want Christian Richardson to return? Previous Message
Here's a list of all the guys who have eligibility for 25-26, plus the two new high school players who have signed. From my perspective, the only guys I would invite back are Hart, Lewis, Wainwright, Martin, Nagy, Xzavierro, and Richardson. That's 7 plus the 2 incoming freshman, Sykes and Washington. That leaves 6 roster spots open, assuming all 7 return (which is hardly a sure thing). What strategy will Acker use to round out the roster next season? Try to get experienced players through the portal, hit JUCO's hard, recruit more high school players or a little of each? What Acker does this off season will be big.
