The players at oregon loved matt. As soon as it was made public that he was leaving, players entered the portal or just left. I would assume that he did tell the players of his plans. I personally feel that Erica is just the holding the program down until Matt gets settled in and will probably join him. Oregon is going to have a major rebuild on it's hands.
