the entire wasted of money to change the Beach script to A. it wasn't based on any data, it was based on 'doing something' like he actually thought that was doing something. spent money to do it. what did it really accomplish?

did it help MVB? NO. MVB success was Knipe, not Fee
when ADs don't know what they are doing or don't have an idea how to actually market or prod coaches to market, they do things like add a /\ or A to the logo
not totally bagging on Fee, but that's the point, we need an AD not to 'invent' crap like the /\ and pretend they are doing something, but get out in city and businesses and sell Long Beach, and stay out of the way of demonstrated competent coaches, and not try to ride their coat-tails of great coaches or latch on to existing boosters.

there won't be much negotiation, pretty sure the salary expectations were pretty clear for all coming in, given the financial constraints. IMO, a candidate would have had to not be very forthcoming about their interest if they thought there was going to be any sort of significant negotiation for this position.

If no announcement today, I'm going to suspect:
1) all three candidates got cold feet because the position reports to the head of Bean Counting, not the President.
2) JCP did not like any of the finalists because they weren't sufficiently woke.
3) the first choice is using this as a negotiating ploy at their current school and asked us to wait for an answer over the weekend.
