almost all these candidates are going to fluff up their resumes. like Fee taking credit for Beach's MVB championships, that's what people do, when the credit is 98% Knipe.
or Fee fluffing up what he did at UCSB, all these assistant ADs take credit for basically just 'being there' as an AD

it's a golden opportunitity to hire the right person at the right time for this job. but never know, she has a way of 'inventing' a landscape that doesn't exist.

even then it's a huge challenge. the AD has to really facilitate some positiivity and fund raising and doing what they can to facilitate a NIL presence.
in the next 5-10 yes, can see transitions in coaching just do to retirement in SOftball, Soccer, MBB, MVB, T&F, Tennis which all have had solid records (aside from MBB) which has kept Beach a top Big West athletics program

I am, although I shouldn't be, given that JCC is making the final decision and her last hire left a lot to be desired. (Please, no more UCSB flunky's) I'm tired of all the excuses about our low salary, the high cost of living and so on. Within the last few years, Fullerton hired an experienced A.D. which has resulted in a much improved basketball and now a resurgent baseball program. Sacramento hired the A.D. from St. Mary's to take over and they have improved significantly. Get it right or we may be facing a diminished future.
