these coaches were all in place. I guess give Fee credit for not pissing them off.
Golf- definitely have to give some credit, there's been changeover, and the program has recruited.
WVB - well, guess one has to give Fee credit for course correction on his first hire
Baseball - well, haven't got back to top tier. In fact a bit frustrating like WVB, Baseball shows flashes of brilliance, followed by concerning funks in performance. Can beat UCSB, but can't win a series vs. Bake
In terms a MVB - Fee again didn't screw it up, but he was a bit of a 'hanger-on' for the successes. It's all due to Knipe anyway.
would be really good to know the donor base metrics with Cegles, then with Fee, and now; as well as business sponsorships. it just seems (but what do I know) that that type of info isn't publicized.
and then guys like Fee apply for jobs and one would think he left Beach with a wealth of money and accomplishments, based on the bios these people put out, lol
plus no 'master plan' since when? 2010?

It does? The last time Long Beach won a Commissioner’s cup was the year immediately before Fee arrived, and this one was in the first year after he left (yes, there were two years where no winner was named due to Covid.) Previous Message
It also shows that Mr Fee did a damn good job while he was here.

With the Softball title (a 60 point swing in points with the Beach sweep over Fullerton), A dominating title in women's T&F which is a 10 team sport, and a 2nd (missing a title by 0.02 seconds no less) in Men's Track & Field. Beach will win the Commie Cup. Even an 8th place finish in baseball and a Fullerton or SB or Irvine title in Baseball won't change things.
goes to show maybe u don't need a permanent AD to succeed in sports
5 titles in the spring, and 3 2nds.
also, point system is still poorly constructed, that a top 5 ranked team in MVB only gets 80 points or that Beach/Hawaii only get 120 points and being final 4 teams. the league should revisit the 6 & 7 team sports points
