Son wanting to win for dad, dad wanting son to win. Understandable.
this is two years where the BWCT & NCAA tourney it's been 4 big matches with just not handling the pressure.
it sticks out that Knipe senior subs out Olivier, MBs, etc. - but when things go south, wouldn't sub out the setter (at least to see if anything could change and a change up)
question #2. I think & believe he comes back, because liberos don't command OH/MB/setter salaries, but will Briggs return for his last year of elgibility ? or opt to try to get some professional play under his belt.
Godbold, Briggs, Towrie, Siapanis, that is a very capable core, and even Knipe for regular season matches, and not sure the setters coming in are a step up.
have no concern about MBs, I think we'll be just as powerful. & not even replacing Olivier. that leaves the setter position, which Knipe can improve....just these matches on the big stage get magnified

We only won one set against UCLA in three matches played, so it's hard to say that we should have won this match, but it's disappointing to end the season with this kind of performance.
We host the BW tournament and the Final Four next year, but I am concerned about our prospects without some major improvement in performance and mindset from Aidan.

agree, some simple sets have been tight or off, not crisp. Knipe has shown he can set better. didn't give Godbold some decent swings
