I don't think it has anything to do with playing 'not to lose' - it's the moment was too big for them to simply play solid. bad receipts and misplaced sets, and UCLA had a wall on Godbold initially. when you are receiving and setting, it's not like you are playing 'conservative' - they just played awful, really awful
may not have mattered - UCLA is good - but would have been nice to actually put some pressure on UCLA who might have slipped. just the Harlan serving run, and that was it.
crap
it seems that they are playing not to lose instead of playing to win -- yep playing to tight --
agree, some simple sets have been tight or off, not crisp. Knipe has shown he can set better. didn't give Godbold some decent swings
hate to say it, this is a choke job. and a bad one on a big stage - it's just sad - instead of playing loose, they've played tight
The setting has been terrible. That is the source of all of our problems.
hate to say it, but really playing like we are intimidated, yuk
it's like they forgot how to play volleyball, just horrible showing so far
jeez, like they are nervous. screw it and play VB
not setting up to get decent swings
UCLA is good, but not this good.
sh*t, get out of the mud!!
