Thanks Graham and Jon, car has gone now with new battery fitted that car thinks still has old one, could not adapt with VCDS even though I had all codes, part number and number of hexadecimal digits was issue, even had Derek on phone from Ilexa with customer breathing down neck, issue seemed to be new battery part number started 000 whereas original was 8KO, given a bit more time I would have sorted it but car had to go out. I would bet it does not come back with any faults, as Sean stated earlier with his Yuasa battery, really, does this battery coding make a real difference?? I do not know, as this is first I have done, no doubt time will tell
