: Will of John Wynn (1752) Prince George’s
: County, Maryland
:
: In the name of God Amen the Twenty first day
: of March in the year of our Lord
: God one Thousand Seven hundred and fifty
: two, I John Wynn son of Prince Georges
: County being sick in body but a perfect mind
: and memory thanks begiven unto God
: therefore calling to mind the mortality of
: my body and knowing that it is
: appointed for all men once to die, do make
: and ordain this my Last Will and
: Testament that is to say principally and
: first of all I recommend my soul into
: hands of Almighty God that gave it, and for
: my body I recommend it to the ---th
: to be buried at the discretion of my
: children –thing ----bling But at the
: General Resurrection I shall receive the
: name again by the mighty Power of God
: and for my Worldly goods I give and bequeath
: as follow---
: Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my loving

: hill Branch and over the fork to the line of
: f???ship by the Walnut tree and at
: the decease of my Daughter Ann Wynn to have
: the one half of my land where I now
: dwell to him and his heirs forever I
: likewise give and bequeath unto my son
: Josiah Wynn and my ?? Daughters in equall
: share of both my pews (??) at Broad
: Creek Church and Acokeek Church.

: the Burying Place is be reserved for

: Mercy and Goodness of God tho weak
: in body, yet of a sound and perfect
: understanding and memory do constitute this
: my last Will and testament and ---- it may
: be received by all as such Imprimis I
: most humbly bequeath my Soul to God, my
: maker beseeching his most gracious
: acceptance of it, through the all sufficient
: merits and mediation of my most
: compassionate Redeemer Jesus Christ, who
: gave himself to be an atonement for my

: all that come unto God by him seeing
