About 1948, we lived in Beltsville. I think my father worked at a turkey farm, most likely connected with the USDA. We lived in a "military" type building, which I think may have been an old CCC Camp. There were several of these buildings, turned into "apartments". One of the larger buildings was PACKED FULL with old "movie type reels, "military" type office furniture, typing paper, etc. Near the property was a field that was dotted with OPEN wells with ladders going down into the wells. A real danger for a curious 6 yr. old ! My question---Can someone tell me where this old site was located? Name of present day road, etc. I have heard there is now a housing development located on the site. I thank you for any help.
